The Circular Tourism Albania project aims to promote circular and sustainable tourism, by building bridges between vocational education, business and the community.

About the Project

The Circular Tourism Albania project (Project No.101182855) is supported by

European development and innovation programs. The implementation period

is 2025 – 2028, and the main partners are the Elbasan Vocational School,

international organizations and local businesses.

Goal: To promote a tourism model based on the principles of

circular economy, where resources are used efficiently, waste

is minimized and social values ​​are increased.

Main objectives:

Educating young people on the concept of circular tourism.

Involving the community and local businesses in

sustainable practices.

Raising awareness for environmental protection.

Creating new opportunities for employment and economic development.

How is the project being implemented?

The implementation of the Circular Tourism Albania project

is divided into several steps:

Kick-off Meeting – The project was presented to the students and staff of the Elbasan Vocational School, with discussions on the importance of circular tourism.
Questionnaires and Forms – Distributed to local business partners to identify their needs and challenges.
Monthly Meetings – Data is analyzed and priorities for new activities are set.
Trainings and Workshops – Learning modules are developed for students on waste management, energy saving and green tourism practices.
Awareness Campaign – Community activities are organized to clean public areas, fairs with local products and promote sustainable tourism.
